An Evening in Interwar Warsaw

An evening in old Warsaw, when the lamps burned low and the tango played until closing. Dinner, a live jazz orchestra, and a dance floor waiting for you, in honor of Mieczysław Fogg on the 125th anniversary of his birth. Dress code: 1920s–1930s.

Presented in collaboration with Solid Tango, Boise’s Argentine tango school. Co-sponsored by the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Los Angeles, which is financially supporting the evening. Proceeds support Kartoflanie’s costumes, studio time, and launching our Pyrki children’s group.

    We took the Amphitheatre stage at Idaho’s multicultural arts and humanities festival, held at JUMP in downtown Boise, and shared Polish folk dance in the open air at a free, family-friendly festival.
